AKC Obedience Regulation Changes

The following information was sent by AKC and is posted at the AKC website:

AKC BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVES OBEDIENCE REGULATION CHANGES Effective DECEMBER 1, 2015

In the summer of 2014, AKC Companion Events held Advisory Committee meetings to review more than 1,200 suggestions from the fancy for the improvement of the sport. After the meetings, a poll was released to the fancy/judges/clubs/Delegates for a review and vote. As a result of the polling and review by the staff, the recommendations for change were presented to the AKC Board of Directors for their review in February/March 2015.

The AKC Board has approved 75 changes/additions to the Obedience Regulations effective December 1, 2015.
